Natural conditions
Natural conditions for photovoltaics in the CR
Availability of solar energy in the Czech Republic is obviously influenced by many factors. These include in particular latitude, season, cloud cover and local conditions, the slope surface on which sunlight falls and other.
In the Czech Republic goes into 1m ² horizontal area about 950 to 1340 kWh of energy. Naturally, the higher the average amount of global radiation, the greater the amount of energy produced per year. Two equally large power plants produce different amounts of energy depending on the location. See Figure 1, which shows the average annual amount of global radiation in MJ/m2.
The annual number of sunny hours is between 1331 - 1844 hrs (CHMI), professional literature suggests as the average between 1600 to 2100 hrs. See Figure 2, which shows how many hours of light at the selected location of the Sun.
In practical terms it uses, the one installed kilowatt current system (FV articles from monocrystalline or Polycrystalline silicon, standard efficiency inverters, etc.) can be obtained for an average of 800 to 1100 kWh of electricity.
